가끔 한국 유투브 에서는 검도와 거합도 Kata, 거합도iaido cutting ,Tameshigiri 를 하는 검도검리연구회라는 단체가 나오기도 합니다.
그렇다면 이것은 일종의 검도 조직인가 아닌가?
동아리로서 물론 일본 발도도 연맹의 지부 역할을 하고 있지만, 일본 발도도 연맹의 검술에만 집중하는 것이 아니라 조선 세법이나 기타 각종 운동도 행하고 있다.
과거에는 다양하고 복잡한 일본식 검도 운동을 가르쳤지만 지금은 사무라이 시대가 아니며, 스트레스 해소와 심신 강화를 목표로 간단한 발도도 운동을 주로 훈련하고 있습니다.
또, 시간이 나면 조선무술인 조선세법도 수련하고, 일본 전역의 거합도 수련자들이 수련하는 거합도 인 제정거합도 수련합니다.
검도와 골프는 비슷합니다. 골프를 하고 싶은데 골프채를 사서 혼자 운동하면 실력이 늘지 않습니다.
그래서 검도나 골프에서는 기본이 중요합니다.
그래서 검도검연구회는 고려도검제작소의 산하기관으로 만들어졌고, 지금은 고려도검에서 검을 구입한 고객에게 혼자 검법을 가르치는 단체가 되었습니다.
발도도는 일본 발도도연맹에 소속되어 있기 때문에 일본과 가깝다고 말하는 사람들도 있습니다.
그러면 친일파입니까? 일본음식을 좋아한다면 친일파인가요? 일 본음식을 좋아한다고 해서 친일파가 되는 것은 아닙니다.
일본 발도도연맹 소속으로 운동을 하고 있지만 결코 친일파는 아닙니다. 그렇다면 검리연이 정식으로 검도를 주업으로 하는 단체인가 아닙니다.
도장을 본업으로 하면 관장이 있고 돈을 받아 검도장을 운영 하는데 저희는 고려도검의 도검을 구입하는 고객에게 검도를 무료로 가르쳐주는 단체 일 뿐입니다.
그 목적은 군에 입대하면 소총을 지급하는데, 소총의 영점 자격도 없이 사격장에 가서 쏘면 총이 맞지 않는 것처름 25미터 영점 자격이 꼭 필요 합니다.
마찬가지로 고려도검에서는 도검을 구입한 분께는 검리연이라는 단체를 통해 고려도검 구매 고객들에게 기본적인 검도와 검 사용법을 가르쳐주고 있습니다.
그렇게 하면 도검이 손상되지도 않고 다치지도 않습니다. 실력을 향상하기 위해 검도를 한다고 할 때, 골프와 마찬가지로 좋은 골프 클럽을 가지고 있다고 해서 골프를 잘 치는 것은 아닙니다.
자신만의 실력과 좋은 골프채가 있어야 하듯이 검도도 마찬가지다. 검도에서는 검도베기 절단을 잘하려면 기술과 좋은 도검이 필요합니다.
검도검리 연구회의 역사는 벌써 19년이라는 세월이 흘렀습니다.
참가 자격은 고려도검의 검을 소지한 분입니다. 지금은 많은 곳으로 수련참가를 오고 있습니다. 서울, 부산, 광주, 홍콩, 호주, 미국에서 오시는 분들이 계십니다.
이는 그분들이 검도검리연구회를 인정하는 것을 의미합니다.
하지만 이것이 고려도검의 산하기구로 운영되는 검도검리연구회가 최고의 실력과 분위기를 갖고 있다는 뜻은 아니다. 현재 좋은 검도 단체가 많이 있습니다.
한국의 검도인 해동검도, 대한검도협회 24반 무예등 검도단체가 있습니다..
또한 서울, 광주, 대구 등에 다양한 검도 단체가 있습니다. 다들 훌륭해요. 어느것이 좋거나 나쁘다는 것은 없습니다.
어떤 운동을 하든간에 자기의 몸과 마음의 단련을 위해 충실히 하면 됩니다.
다른 류파 와 비교하거나 남을 비난할 필요는 없습니다.
오늘은 제가 운영하고 있는 검도검리연구회에 대해 말씀드렸습니다.
오늘은 대나무 베기, 다다미 베기 등을 했는데 오늘은 사람이 많이 오지 않았습니다.
왜냐하면 검도검리연구회의 4단 이상 사범진 수련 날인데 1~2단도 참석 하였네요 광주 혜명스님, 세종시 임현묵 이사장, 전주 이근호 총장, 인천 변규현 교수 등이 참석했습니다.
